Okay so, obviously, Demi will probably never see this.. BUT, I would like to wish her a VERY HAPPY AND SUPER DUPER AWESOME 17th birthday! :) Haha, I'm so jealous. Everyone's turning 17.. first Selena, now Demi, and then Nick's next :) Sometimes I really wish I was an American, because then I could go to your show today, and spend your birthday with you. I probably sound like a teenie, but whatevs. Sometimes you can't help showing your devotion and love for certain celebrities.
Now, there's been some news about Demi's tour and the last several shows being cancelled.. I don't really know why, because that's an issue within itself. But for one, ticket sales seem to be a factor. It's saddening that she doesn't have that much of a "fan base".. I mean, Demi seems pretty popular to me. (Guess I was wrong?) I can't speak for the other girls/guys in Toronto, but I know that if Demi were to tour or even, come here, I would try and be there. I'm definitely a big fan of hers :) Another thing that really sucks is that, people are only attending her tour to see David Archuleta! Is he that big? Cause I sure didn't know..
People are seriously buying tickets to HER tour, JUST to see him. So, you're okay with paying whatever amount of money to see some guy play 7 or 8 songs, and then just leave. Wow, that sounds like an awesome show..! I think that true and real fans of Demi, would wait for an explanation of some sort, before bashing her and abandoning her completely. I mean, I know like 80% of those people had their summers "ruined" and shows cancelled.. but the things I saw said were pretty harsh. I know that if it was my concert cancelled, I would be disappointed, but you know, as long as I get my refund (or a rescheduled date) it's all good. Because you never know, I might be able to see her again, somewhere down the road.
Some interesting news has popped up, concerning all of this.. well, apparently, those shows were cancelled, so that she could tour with the Jonas Brothers on the last leg of their tour (North American areas). Obviously, that's good news for me. I don't know if it's true or not, but I 'm definitely not complaining if it is.. I'm sure this is probably coming off as selfish to some who read this, but I'm not gonna lie. I happen to be part of the end of that tour. I guess the last few days of the tour were planned for Canada, because of Camp Rock 2 shooting. So it makes sense why Demi would possibly transfer to the JBWT, but I agree that this is something that should have been already planned out before the dates were finalized and put out there. Because now all these "fans", etc., are in like an uproar. It's cah-razyy. Rant over, haha.
I guess we'll just have to see how this all plays out. And if Demi is at my concert (August 30th), I'll definitely post about it :) Later skaters!
