I was freaking out basically the whole time that we were walking down to MuchMusic. And then when I heard the screams of other fangirls like myself, I knew things were about to get crazy. We were across the street watching JB on the little screens. I was dying to see the boys, so everyone started chanting, "COME OUTSIDE! COME OUTSIDE! COME OUTSIDE!" And then there they were.. in all their gorgeousness. My camera couldn't come out fast enough, haha. I got quite a few good shots, even one where Nick's staring at me! OMG, it was so awesome, even though we got there half an hour late. We got there in time to see Honor Society perform, "Where Are You Now?" thankfully, but sadly, they never came outside, so I couldn't get any pictures :( After the show ended, and the boys left, I was lingering, because I just didn't want it to be really over. Eventually, I got pulled away by Cassandra, and I convinced her to walk with me to the back where their cars came out. We waited along some other girls, and then finally.. their entourage passed along, and enter in high pitched squeals. Haha, I'm happy that I got a picture. We saw Nick in his car, and I'm pretty sure he waved, but it all happened so fast! Very happy in my life. SO, then not too long after the cars pass by, this swarm decide that they're going to try and chase the cars.. uh, good luck with that. I love JB, but that's not necessary or possible, and I don't want them to think that I'm such a creepy stalker. I prefer "loyal and devoted fan", anyway :)
Yesterday's concert at the Rogers Centre was just beyond words, and just thinking about it, makes me want to cry so bad. I think it's obvious from that alone, that I've got it bad for these boys.
Before lining up, I passed through the merchandise store with Cassandra, which was right beside my gate (#1). I had $40 to spend, and I knew that I wanted the program for sure, so I got that. That left $15.. I could have bought a JONAS 2040 bumper sticker and a keychain (which I've really been wanting) OR a necklace. I decided to go with the necklace, because I thought it would last longer, and it's a good keepsake :) It says, "Jonas Brothers World Tour 2009" and the boys' names on the back, it's also in the shape of a guitar pick. If I had a couple more bucks, I so would have bought a shirt (it sucks that they're soooo expensive). That reminds me.. scalpers. I really wonder how many people actually bought tickets from them, because their rates were pretty steep. Ugh, those people annoy me, but I guess they're trying to make a living or whatever. Anyway...
After dropping my mom off at Gate #14, and Cassandra at Gate #5, I headed off to my own gate.
Waiting in line was torture! The gates were supposed to open up at 6pm, and I was to line up at Gate #1, but since that gate line was for like, the floor seats, the line was ridiculous! It took up until 7:30 to get inside, I was afraid that I was going to miss Honor Society. But it was all good, I ran inside and was guided to my seat, and watched the emcee, all the while waiting for the show to begin. Just being at the concert was amazing! Beforehand, I was majorly freaking about the quality of my seat, but it was still pretty great. I had a good view and all, and that made me happy. I was sitting in Section B6, second last row (11), and the last seat of the row, 16. I was very lucky to be where I was.
The first opening act was Honor Society, four guys who I'm starting to really like. They performed six songs: "Over You", "Nobody Has To Know", "See You In The Dark", "Two Rebels", "Full Moon Crazy", and "Where Are You Now?". My favourites were: "See You In The Dark", "Over You", and "Full Moon Crazy". These boys are seriously amazing. This concert made me fall more in love with them, and I can't wait for their new CD (coming out September 15th)! They're here in Toronto, for a show at the Opera House tonight; they're also downtown, the place I could be right now, meeting them :( But seriously, I'm beginning to become a real fan of theirs, and Michael (Bruno) is my favourite. You'll be able to tell from the amount of pictures that I snapped of him, haha ;) One day, I'll see them again .. possibly in the dark? Haha ♥
After HS was finished, the emcee introduced the Wonder Girls and they performed their very catchy song, "Nobody". Then they taught everyone the dance that accompanies the song. Haha, and now.. I like obsessed with this song, and can't take it off repeat :) The Wonder Girls are definitely love. Jordin (Sparks) was next. She was awesome, I can't believe I got to see her live :) I believe she performed 7 songs: "One Step At A Time", "Young And In Love", "Freeze", "Tattoo", "Walking On Snow", "S.O.S. (Let The Music Play)", and "Battlefield" later on with the Jonas Brothers. Let me tell you, Jordin Sparks is a fierce performer, I just love her! I'm happy that she performed like, all my favourite songs of hers.
Intermission came, and I took that as my cue to go to the "little girl's room" and yeah. I rushed back to my seat, just in time, the main attraction was about to come on. The deafening screams were enough of a signal, I'm sure. They played "Paranoid", "That's Just The Way We Roll", "Poison Ivy", "Hold On", "Play My Music", "Fly With Me", "Black Keys"/"A Little Bit Longer", "Much Better", "Year 3000", "I Gotta Feeling" leading into "Tonight", "I Gotta Find You" and then Demi surprised us and performed "This Is Me" with Joe, "Turn Right", "When You Look Me In The Eyes", "Sweet Caroline (cover)", "Live To Party", "BB Good", "World War III", "Lovebug", "S.O.S.".
Things to mention: I was on the Horns side, I didn't get foamed (unfortunately), I missed the flips and tricks during "Much Better. I saw them, but I couldn't document it in time. Poor Joe fell, but he managed to jump the mic stand :) Garbo needs to shave, STAT (I still love you though, ;])! I've got a really, extremely hot picture where it looks like he's looking right at me! :D I think this is the best picture of him yet (besides his solo shot in Rolling Stone) ♥ I love how Demi was there, although it wasn't really a surprise. Haha, I tried to get as much pictures of her as possible. That was definitely an epic moment :)
More epicness came when Nick said, that this was the BEST night of their lives. I think it had to do with.. I don't know, playing for a sold-out crowd of 56,000?! :) They also mentioned that we were a beautiful crowd. Boy, did they make me feel special that night ♥
Overall: I rate that day as a 50/10, it was honestly that good! :) I took like 700 pictures that whole day. Videos wise, I got: their intro + some of "Paranoid", "Much Better", Nick's speech & "World War III". For that, I would like to thank the Jonas Brothers, Honor Society, Jordin Sparks, Demi, and Wonder Girls for making my summer that much better. Haha, MUCH BETTER is right :) Please come back soon, Toronto misses you dearly. That is all. FINALLY.
xo. ♫
Oh wait, PS. I stood true to the title. .. I really did fall in love all over again with these boys :)
No worries, pictures COMING VERY SOON!
