I've been reading fan fictions about the Jonas Brothers, for awhile now. I'm definitely NOT saying I could write something better. But, I would really like to try my hand at writing them. The other night, I was laying in bed thinking, and like all of these ideas came to my head. It was nice to think that, I, a horrible writer could come up with something at all, creative especially. Haha, it's exciting! Only thing is, I have all these ideas, I'm just scared that I won't be able to elaborate and expand on them, and end up with a good story.
There's so many people that are just SO good at it, and then it's like, "Why bother?". But this is something I don't have to give up on, because it'll be beneficial for me. Even all the way back in elementary school, when every student at school had to write a story, and it got like turned into a book. 5 or so years later, I still have that book.. somewhere That lame, lame book. Haha, I'm so sorrry. But I'm that bad at creative writing, that this book is stomach turning to me.
It was about this happy family, life is good and well, until things slowly start changing between the parents. Eventually, the two decide to separate for awhile. The kids are ultimately devastated, and do everything in their power to try and reunite their parents, because they know deep down, that they still love and care for each other. So, like a typical and majorly predictable story, it works and all goes back to normal. Ha, so bland. How naive.
See, this is key evidence of my amateur-ness. And, I want to do so much better. In order to do so, I'm doing my research on how to structure a story plot properly, among other stuff. Just trying to soak in as much good advice as I can.. I'm a sponge, basically. Bring the advice on! I have all my ideas written on random pieces of paper, even envelopes. But I have to transfer everything to my special JONAS notebook, because I'm bound to lose the envelope..
I'm so over that phase though, it's time for change. Hopefully, writing about something I like and that I know more about will help me come up with better material. My new topic, oh scratch that, TOPICS of choice. It has to do with these three guys, and they're all handsome brothers, making awesme/beautiful/bomb digggity music. Figure it out yet? Yeah. It's the Jonas Brothers! :D Anywayyyyyy, I have like 25 story ideas, about 5 for each brother.
Oh gosh, this is gettting rather long. Signing off now, wish me luck! :) Playing some DDR first to break my mind in slowly, haha.
