"I CAN'T PAY MY RENT, BUT I'M FUCKING GORGEOUS!"
"SHOW ME YOUR FUCKING TEETH!"
"EVERY TIME YOU GUYS SCREAM MY NAME, I GET A TEENY TINY MINI ORGASM."
Lady Gaga is a true artist, genius, and my idol at the moment. Every thing she does and says is amazing, and even though she's perceived as weird and junk, I honestly don't give a crap. I like to call her the female Warhol :) Interviews. When I hear her talk, it blows my mind, cause I never knew she was that profound and smart.
November 28th, 2009 has been the best day of the month for me. I got to see Lady Gaga live in concert, and it was truly awesome. I was pretty much a stress ball that day, especially when I came home from work, thinking that we (my mom and I) were gonna be late. I was that excited for it. When we finally got there, despite the bad timing throughout, I had a good time. I was introduced to new music and reminded of old favourites. The openers, Semi Precious Weapons and Kid Cudi were great; I really enjoyed the music they played, and I'm glad that I had the opportunity to see them perform. But I have to be honest when I say, that I was really anxious to see Gaga. After all, that was the reason why I was there.
I had to miss a good last chunk of Cudi's set, because my mom wanted me to come outside for some reason. She was looking at merch.. so I ended up getting a bag and program. I was happy that I could leave (the concert) with at least something, so I hurried up and got back, so that I wouldn't have to miss anything else.
When those lights went off, and I heard the beginning of "Dance In The Dark", I was up and ready to rock. Through all her songs, I was dancing, singing every word, and couldn't stop smiling, because the whole thing felt so surreal. I'm really surprised that my camera lived off the battery I had, because I didn't have it off once, and was snapping as many pictures as possible :) In the end, I came out with 330 pictures and a video of my favourite song, Speechless.
Semi Precious Weapons was having this mini M&G outside my mom's section, so I met her over there and we waited to meet Justin. At the time, I was super tired, because it was midnight, and I'd been up since 7:30. So yeah, I was pretty cranky, but in the end, it was great. We got a picture and autographs :)
On our way out, we kinda gave in to the scalpers, and bought shirts. And as long as the shirts don't fail me, no one will have to pay.. haha. So yeah. It may sound bad being a pretty diehard JB fan, but this concert was dangerously close to being better.
50/10!

The next day I got to see New Moon in theaters, which was awesome! Shirtless werewolves? Yes, please! ;)
