What a strange, yet very musical day I've been having. This morning, I attempted (to no avail) to pre-order Selena Gomez's album online, but to my dismay, found out it was only available for people living in the US. Enter fit of rage here. I seriously am very upset over this.. what I wouldn't do for a signed CD, fan club membership, among other things..
But my day turned up. I turned to the lovely boys in my life (the Jonas Brothers), for musical inspiration, and things smoothed over in an instant. It started off with the self-titled album, then ALBL, then the fact that I don't own "It's About Time", led me to go on a hunt for a download link. I basically went on a musical trip down memory lane.. made me realize how much I love that album. Old school Jonas is always relevant, in my opinion.
To top all that off.. Katy Perry released another song from her upcoming CD, on iTunes. "E.T. (Futuristic Lover)" is the song that I've been excited about the most, especially after having the demo on a constant loop. The song is A+, and it felt great buying it. When this album finally releases.. life will be complete, wellllllllll.. until Lady Gaga's new CD comes out. Then, life will be so complete that I might need to be brought back to life.
Great day overall, and tomorrow I get to spend an afternoon at the museum. Nerd status ;)
