look at me now.

Since I haven't blogged in a couple days, I just decided that I'll blab about some recent events/things that are on my mind..

Okay, first I would like to say how happy I am to be able to don my favourite colour, and support an amazing cause all at the same time. Today I'm wearing purple in support of Global Epilepsy Awareness Day.

Tuesday was the fabulous day that Selena Gomez released dates for her first headlining tour, featuring All-Star Weekend. I cannot even begin to explain what that news did to me, when I first saw it on Facebook. Firstly, I'm pretty sure I couldn't breathe properly. My mind was bouncing around in my head... I even dropped to the ground, and maybe, possibly, a tear was shed. Selena going on tour was not news to me, and as much I was hoping she would come to Toronto, I honestly never thought she would. I am so happy that I finally get to see one of my favourite people live! April 2nd, tickets for public sale go online at 10am, and I am very anxious. Very, very much so. This is my second summer concert before college, ahh! ...I'm also kinda hoping that Justin will be around, especially because it's his city. I mean, a girl can hope.

Speaking of Selena.... If you have been living under a rock, or maybe you just were sleeping... Delena is back, bitches! I honestly couldn't be happier, and I'm 100% sure that there are a lot of people who agree with me. It broke my heart thinking that this friendship could possibly be no more, but thankfully, both Selena and Demi proved that they're stronger than ever. That's so good, because I think they're so good for each other, and one in the same ;)

It's weird how early in advance I plan things.. maybe I'm a bit OCD. It was my little sister's birthday yesterday (she turned 8), and for some reason, that triggered my birthday senses. This year, I'll be turning the big one-eight, and as much as I'm not really thrilled to reach that age just yet, I'm very excited about the wishlist I've created for my special day. 126 days to go, and I already have a list of what I want. 6 or 7 things.. simple. Purple converse is high up on my list, with a key necklace, and Britney Spears concert tickets. If Britney doesn't tour here, I wouldn't mind getting some of her CDs and a shirt. Other wishlist items include: Iron Chef America for Wii, a cookbook, and money.

Femme Fatale is in stores in three days! Sadly, I have to extend my wait by a couple days, because I don't get paid until late next week, and I'll admit that that's a big of a disappointment. I'm gonna be strong, and attempt not to whine too much... I just feel like I've been waiting so long already, I really just want this CD in my hands as soon as possible. Good thing is, I have the four bonus tracks and album booklet to keep me motivated enough to wait it out.

GoogleGoesGaga happened this week, and it was just amazing. You think you know so much about someone... I mean, I just keep learning more and more about Lady Gaga. For one, we're both left-handed, and I also finally know why all her tattoos are on the left side of her body... When she speaks, I can't help but listen. I learned more about the album and the next single (Judas), she made me super excited for the Born This Way Ball, and made me laugh with her wittiness. "IS THIS REAL LIFEEEE?" I literally adore the woman! Simply put, I'm Gaga for the Lady.

Lastly, I would like to share with you all, my song of the day. You may not know this, but a couple years ago, I had a legit obsession with Chris Brown. It's weird to think about it, especially because he's changed so much since then, and he hasn't been my favourite person lately, but I guess I can't deny him completely.. His latest album, F.A.M.E., released this week, and I listened to the album previews on iTunes. Oh my goodness, my virgin ears couldn't take it. I'm sitting up here, like when the hell did Chris Brown become a nymphomaniac? Despite all that, I managed to find one song that I liked well enough to listen all the way through. "Look At Me Now" features Busta Rhymes and Lil Wayne, and a ridiculously catchy beat. I honestly can listen to this song on repeat, and I am obsessed with Busta Rhymes verse... How does one rap at that speed? My mind has been blown straight out of the water.

This has been an extremely long post 2k11,
