I just spent the last two hours or so, making chocolate chip oatmeal cookies for my sister. I figured it was a total win/win. She was craving her favourite cookie, and I needed a new recipe to test out. I am so happy that things turned out as well as they did, because I am not really used to making anything that doesn't involve strawberries and/or cream cheese. Those cheesecake cupcakes were my life for more than a month now.. it was definitely time for a change of pace. My sister thinks the cookies are pretty fantastic, but I'll never know, 'cause I don't like chocolate in any shape or form. But all in all, a pat on the back is in order :)
I can't wait to make chili and lemon-raspberry muffins next!
