Very first read of the summer; "Dear John" by Nicholas Sparks. After watching the movie about a week or two ago, I was immediately inspired to read the book, and see how both the movie and novel matched up to each other. Sometimes, they are two completely different things, and luckily, a lot of times they are spot-on. Nicholas Sparks, although typical with his story lines, is a talented writer who has many books turned into memorable movies. A Walk To Remember, The Notebook, Dear John, as well as The Last Song. I find it weird that I am having more ease reading this book, compared to when I was reading TLS last winter. Either way, I'm quite enjoying myself at the moment, and the fact that I actually have time to read again. God bless the summertime!
